  These mice have been newly deposited to RIKEN BRC. They will be
 available soon after rederivation. We appreciate depositors for their

  These mice just have been rederived into our SPF barrier facility.
 These mice are now available for distribution.

| Mouse strains for freeze preservation
+------------------------------------------------------------+

  Since enough number of frozen embryos has been preserved, live mice
 of these strains will be closed soon. It will take long time
 (4-5 months) to recover live mice from frozen stock. Please let us
 know as soon as possible, if you plan to use the mice and request them
 alive.

|  Report: The 4th FIMRe Meeting
+------------------------------------------------------------+

  The 4th FIMRe Meeting was held on May 22nd -23rd at RIKEN BioResource
 Center. It was the first meeting held in Asia. Major mouse resource
 centers such as the Jackson Laboratory and European Mouse Mutant
 Archive (EMMA), and seven organizations from Asia participated in this
 meeting. The representatives of 24 organizations from 13 countries
 assembled here to discuss the future operation for the mouse
 resources.
