PRAT4A KO Mouse : A key molecule for innate and adaptive immunity
Depositor: Dr. Kensuke Miyake (University of Tokyo)
RBRC02399_C57BL/6-PRAT4A<tm1Kmiy>
A protein associated with TLR4 (PRAT4A) has been found to bind TLR4,
and regulate the expression of TLR4 and the response to LPS. Using
PRAT4A-deficient mice, there are defective cytokine production
against bacteria and activation of Th1 responses. This mutant mouse
is useful for the study of PRAT4A in innate and adaptive immunity.

+-----------------------------------------------------------------------
Please use the following sentence to clearly indicate the RIKEN BRC
as the source of the BIOLOGICAL RESOURCE in 'Materials and Methods'
of your publication.
Example : OO mouse strain (RBRC12345) was provided by RIKEN BRC which
is participating in the National Bio-Resource Project of the MEXT,
Japan. (RBRC12345 : BRC No.)
The RIKEN BRC is a non-profit institution funded by the Japanese
Government. We are engaged in collecting, maintaining, multiplying,
storing and distributing bioresources, in order to support research and
development in the field of life sciences. The RIKEN BRC has been
providing bioresources not only to scientists in Japan but also to
those in overseas. To be able to continue our service to the
international scientific community, the RIKEN BRC needs to demonstrate
publicly our contribution to the scientific community by disclosing our
user's research publications.
According to Article 5 of the MTA we would like to request a reprint
of any published research paper that involved the BIOLOGICAL RESOURCE
supplied by RIKEN BRC.

| Newly deposited mouse strains
+-----------------------------------------------------------------------
These mice have been newly deposited to RIKEN BRC. They will be
available soon after rederivation. We appreciate depositors for their
contributions to the scientific community.

| Newly available mouse strains
+-----------------------------------------------------------------------
These mice just have been rederived into our barrier facility.
These mice are now available for distribution.

+-----------------------------------------------------------------------
| Mouse strains for freeze preservation
+-----------------------------------------------------------------------
Since enough number of embryos has been preserved, live mice of these
strains will be closed soon. It will take more than 3 months to recover
live mice from frozen stock. Please let us know as soon as possible, if
you plan to use the mice and request them alive.
